Austin DIY Studio started as a passion project created by Mica May, who fills her afternoons and weekends with DIY projects with her kids. Known around the neighborhood for always having her hot glue gun & pom poms at the ready, she’s always dreamed of a studio that hosted DIY projects that are both whimsical and sophisticated. A creative space for events and gatherings to make something you would actually be proud to show off! She believes there is power where there is a collective creative energy - so gathering and making is her favorite thing.

We believe that the journey of creating is just as important as the final product, so we consider ourselves a “process art” studio - where we value the BEING & CREATING together as much as the end result.
